NINI Organics - Skincare Magic for Green Beauty Lovers

I’ve been a NINI lover for many years now and honestly there’s not much out there that compares to the beautifully handcrafted skin-food magic Alex literally dreams up.

Alex started NINI with his sister Nicole with one mission in mind, to create the ultimate superfoods for skin, made with 100% natural and organic ingredients.

I first met Alex when we were just teenagers and not long after, we moved out of our childhood homes together and into our first grown-up flat in Muswell Hill.

Back then, Alex had only just recovered from severe acne and was still in the process of healing. He was so passionate about his self-care rituals which soon led to his deeper learning of holistic and organic skincare. Lucky for me, I got to experience the many perks of living with a natural beauty fanatic while he journeyed further towards his calling.

Fast forward however many years (a decade perhaps?) and Alex has blossomed into an absolute green-beauty-guru!

NINI has a built up a loyal following of 'lovers' (as Alex so warmly calls his customers) over the years and a huge part of this is due to Alex’s evident passion for the self-care rituals, his buzzing excitement of crafting of his dream products and his hilarious (and informative) Instagram videos.

Here's a quickie Q&A from when Alex guest featured on my virtual retreat 'Wellbeing Rituals', talking organic green beauty, wellbeing magic, skin-loving routines and pro tips for healthier, happier skin!

Hey Alex, what inspired you to start NINI Organics?

Hello lover! Well, I had acne at 16 and was looking for ways to heal that. After coming off the harsh medical treatment 'Roaccutane', I discovered the wonders of natural beauty and it just changed my life. My skin began to improve so dramatically and that sparked my love for green beauty and wellbeing.

What does 'wellbeing' mean to you?

Wellbeing for me meant going t-total on all my biggest vices. It means continuing to find my divine self through healthy eating, conscious living, exercise, connecting to nature and ritualistic skin care routines. It also means being comfortable knowing my boundaries and saying no when needed. It means loving and honouring myself fully.

What are your top 3 foods for healthier skin?

Anything high in probiotics, vitamin c and omega oils!

What's your typical morning skincare routine?

I actually call it my ‘ritual routine’ - I wake up and take ten deep breaths with a homemade essential oil roller, then cleanse with ‘Halo’, some days I’ll exfoliate with our 'Coffee & Cacao Face Scrub'. Once removed, I jump in a freezing cold shower and cleanse. Then I hop out and massage my body with ‘Coco Melt’. Finally I finish it all off with ‘Natura Detox Oil’ mixed with ‘Crimson Beauty’, a little face mist and 'Infinity Beauty Balm'.

3 skincare saviour ingredients?

Jojoba oil. Apple cider vinegar. Cacao.

If you had to choose, what would be your favourite NINI product and why?

Ooh, that's a really hard one! I’m honestly so in love with all our products! If I really had to choose, I think my ‘can't live without’ is the 'Natura Detox Oil'. I just think it's such a winning formula. I'm so obsessed with it and am so proud to have created it.

Finish this sentence - Self care is....

...Feeling your fantasy! Finding your true divine self and living for the moments!
